EDA Summer School

European Dyslexia Association Summer School

The main aim of European Dyslexia Association (EDA) is to inform people, politicians, policy makers, trade and commerce unions and pressure groups in Europe about the necessity of supporting those who are dyslexic or DYS in a positive way, in order to avoid negative consequences caused by inappropriate education and training, low self-esteem and under-achievement which may lead to social exclusion.
It provides a platform for the most recent scientific findings in this area, best-practice interventions in the field of education and extra-curricular advancement as well as the advancement of affected individuals from all parts of the European Union.

The EDA is particularly interested in supporting the creation and development of national and regional organisations for people with dyslexia across the whole Europe.

We are glad to inform the participants in EDA Summer School in San Marino, that, from the 15th to the 17th July, at 9.15 pm the XIII edition of SAN MARINO ETNOFESTIVAL will take place.
It's an interesting event at "Cava dei Balestrieri", a suggestive site not far from the Hotels, and every evening there will be a different group of musicians coming from different Countries.

On Sunday, the 18th, from 9 am to 7.30 pm, the narrow streets of San Marino will be crowded by 500 "figuranti", men and women wearing medieval dresses, coming from fifty different parts of Italy to take part in a "long arch tournament".

We will be sending the participants more information and details about these events in order to be able to take into consideration the possibility of participating.
